OUR BELIEF

Donwei Machinery Industry Company is located in Taichung, Taiwan since it was founded in 1985. All the production monitoring, quality controlling, and packing facilities along with the office are all in the same location to ensure the efficient operation of the company which offer the best supplying to customers. The name of DONWEI had been related with bobbins since 1985. We have supplied bobbins to many well-known companies such as Singer, Juki, Brother, Elna, Pfaff over the years. In order to offer more services to our customers, we have extended the strategical business into following areas: sewing, quilting, and craft. Therefore, we include scissors, sewing notions, cutting mats, quilting tools, needles, and many other innovative products into our line and supply to worldwide well-known chain stores as well. We constantly improve our products with three major principles: Design, Function and Quality. To meet each customer's needs is our first priority. We never slow-down from developing new products and we only offer the best quality goods with competitive price to our customers.

OUR HISTORY

Since 1985, the name of DONWEI® has been synonymous with Bobbin. Our leadership in the industry has remained to this day due to our continued commitment to quality, innovation, and service.

  • Ningbo Sew Mate Handicraft Co., Ltd. was established 2009. Exclusive Agent of German Brand Madeira Threads in Taiwan and China market.
  • Sew Mate Company was established, which Specialized in Domestic Market and Importing Quilting Accessories.
  • Brand of Sewing, Quilting and Notions SewMate® was established.
  • Developed Automatic Production Equipment for Bobbins.
  • Exploited International Market Actively and Participated in Major Exhibitions.
  • Brand of Scissors & Cutting Tools X'SOR® was established.
  • Capital Increased and Purchased the Factory Located in Dali District, Taichung city.
  • Donwei Machinery Industry Company was established in Taichung City, Taiwan; the DONWEI® brand was issued at the same year.

PRODUCT R&D

To develop new products and satisfy customers' need on quality and service, we have a professional R&D team. They are not only focusing on product development and improvement, but also giving clear user guide with illustrations on package. We believe this carefully design on the package will give the maximum value to the product and add consumer's loyalty to the brand. The R&D department also take the OEM & ODM project upon request. The engineering drawing team and design team work together to assist our customers make the ideas to be really came true and even make the final outcomes more reasonable and practical for the market.
